My pharmacist told me no more boosters was because it was needed anymore. I asked why we need flu boosters then. No good answer.

Thank you for saying this. You're not alone. I've been freaking out about this for some time now & it astonishes me we're not up in arms about this. In time every person that lives here will be experiencing the effects our our own personal health first hand. #yyc #yeg #abpoli #Wildfire #Climate

Years ago in Canada I briefly joined the Liberal Party to vote for Mark Garneau for leader because an Astronaut as Prime Minister would have been awesome.

Search any article about a corporate bankruptcy for "private equity" and you will not be surprised by what you find.

Because it was run on Chat GPT-3. If they'd paid for the 4 upgrade, maybe they would have won the election.

There was a point in time in which people reached a critical mass for the idea of "We should have our own foreign policy." A day will come in which it will be obvious and the consensus will be easy. If it feels like it would take a lot of energy, wait. We'll get there.

He is not required to live there. I'm in Calgary and I haven't had my MP live in the riding since at least 1997 likely before that.

Has anyone started the process for a referendum on banning open pit coal mining in Alberta?

Imagine how the anger spreads when truck drivers and retail workers are being laid off because the container ships stopped arriving and there is little to ship or stock the shelves with.

It is obscene that there isn't more toss up ridings in Alberta though. I hate that my riding goes CPC consistently 50%+. It is working class and the CPC drop in some privileged connected asshat from Chestermere or somewhere and they win hands down.

Ah yes a government that governs instead of *checks notes* complains about virtue signaling while virtue signaling like a MF as a distraction to them siphoning public money to their friends who give them tickets to Stanley Cup games.

Before I read the screenshot I thought she was heading down to Panama in her quest to be Pallister V2. Pallister governed from Costa Rica, I'm sure Smith thinks she could from her place in Panama.

He also graced us with the handwritten sign during the debate. That gave 22minutes and political cartoonists so much fodder.

Fair. I appreciate the honesty. Ranked ballot would be my first choice as well if I had to choose one thing only. The current system is such a failure. It discourages turnout in a lot of ridings. It allows parties in Canada to aim for 38%.

Straight proportional is crap. Mixed members proportional. That could be intriguing. 20-25% of the seats for each province being proportional and could still have ranked ballot on the riding seats.

It's because those people are too lazy to qualify through upgrading skills or shitty (criminal record?) to meet the requirements. They know America doesn't want them personally so they want to use the rest of us and the value we have to "get them in".

It's almost like most adults are vaccinated but some of those same adults "did their own research" so a bunch of kids are at risk of brain damage or death.
