They have sold, and continue to sell, millions of cars with ‘full self driving’ add-ons in the thousands of dollars, at times ten thousand dollars, that do not have the necessary hardware to ever fulfill that lofty promise. That is fraud. Someday they will settle a class action and send refunds.

it’s plainly stupid. Sorry.

because that would imply that there was sincere, honest belief that a camera-only solution would work despite mountains of evidence saying otherwise. He knew better. That’s why the cars had radar for years prior. Shifting direction was a convenient lie when parts were thin - and now he’s stuck.

No.

well, to admit that a camera-only solution will never work would be to admit to a massive fraud. He’s pot committed.

is it microblogging or just … writing generally? I worry it’s the latter

good lord, worry about contracts in the offseason. We’re about to tip Game 2 of the NBA Finals and you’re talking about the luxury tax … 🤮

in a playoff game when I was 10, my first baseman was throwing grounders to warm up the infield while I threw warm up tosses on the mound. Somehow in his attempt to throw a ball to third he hit me on the temple and knocked me cold. After smelling salts, I still pitched. We lost lol

pardoning actual insurrectionists and attacking peaceful protestors. Yep sounds about right.

the question presumes that Trump cares if the federal government works. Of course he does not. He only cares about what it can do for him.

to ignore the immaturity and deep unseriousness is part of how we got here tho

a core framework that defines this executive branch is that they are rapidly rolling back civil service reform efforts that are over 150 years old. Everyone is a political appointee again, expected to run their sliver of govt to the benefit of the President and his party.

omg … you’re right. You’re exactly right.

The Robinhood Gold card has 3% cash back on everything (with a Robinhood Gold membership, I think $50/yr) and easily creates virtual card numbers for different circumstances in the app. I don’t think that much of RH but the card has been great.

this is the only new vehicle the company has introduced in over 5 years and it’s an obvious, incredible flop with no other products coming but the stock soars so 🤷‍♂️😂

there's a pretty significant tell there. When you call something a 'transaction' you know both sides have an expectation of receiving something.

Guardians - Reds feels like a huge stretch to me as a Guardians fan. We play every year, usually they aren’t any good, it’s like big brother little brother and certainly not a rivalry. Whereas the Guardians and Twins haven’t liked each other for a decade plus now and are both often competitive.

yeah, the piece just seems (maybe I’m wrong) to be missing the causality that’s driving the story they are reporting. They are talking about businesses moving production into Canada to avoid importing from the US - for tariff avoidance. That would be avoiding Canada’s ongoing tariffs on US exports.
comment in response to post
isn’t this story arguing that companies are taking packaging operations for their Canadian-market products into Canada rather than import from the US … due to Canada’s continued tariffs on US exports?

JA is the guy that has to get dangled around in trade talks. Every playoffs he gets muscled around.
