Yeah, you just have to look at Ukraine to see what happens when you give up your nukes.

It's so weird, I see a black lady in the video, but the audio just sounds like Philippe Pétan.

Make them knock your door down then. This isn't legal advice, this is advice about living in a facist state. Get your head out of your ass.

Yeah, they're probably Hamas. Should just call in the airforce.

Never open the door for cops, even if they have a warrant.

Again, a good reminder that it doesn't matter if you're peaceful and civil, facists will manufacturer outrage out of thin air and blame you anyway. The only way to beat them is make it to dangerous, to costly, to inconvenient to operate. Society at league will follow whoever is winning.

This is why having some rando who can win a ounce every 4 year popularity contest lead a city of 100s of millions is a bad idea. Riots are the language of the unheard and the powerless. Don't let up, show these cowards exactly where they stand.

People will resist ICE in various ways and i promise you nothing scares the state more than when the people who aren't out there throwing rocks at ICE trucks support the people who do.

I haven't read the rest of the list but even just this first one is gold and I wish more organizers actively protected this time. Also, if it's around a meal time, this is a great time to have food.

Even non-violent Civil Rights protests during the 60s were seen by most Americans as harming the Civil Rights Movement rather than helping it. So to all the people saying, “don’t protest! It will only make things worse!”, you are likely just as wrong as people were back then

Thanks racist for showing exactly who backs the dems.

It's because while this is an escalation of the oligarchy, the lack of connection and contol that anyone has to the treasure process is not meaningfully changing. When the changes hit them down the line, they won't viscerally understand the connection.

It's obviously terrible, but I'm kinda enjoying how it's just entirely mask off now. This has always been what most of both parties wanted, but now at least they aren't pretending anymore.
comment in response to post
The problem is, the dems don't really have a fundemental disagreement with what's happening, they just don't want to be left out of the room because then they won't be able to profit from it.

Sure they would, you keep clutching to your belief that Biden was helpless babe in the woods to justify your support for murdering children.
comment in response to post
Huh, funny that you seem to not understand what happens to an appropriation bill once it passes Congress. Choosing to support a genocide does have consequences, maybe you should have thought about that earlier.
comment in response to post
Perhaps Biden shouldn't have supported the genocide that led to this, instead of being a zionist child murderer.

Some of us having been trying to sound the alarm all our lives, but no one wants to listen until suddenly it effects them. The shades matter, but if you act like the problem is new, you'll fail at any actual solution.

It was never a democracy, it was always an oligarchy, this is just more mask off then before.

The only time you should ever open your mouth around a cop: - Am I being detained or am I free to go? - I do not consent to any search. - I invoke the fifth. I want to speak to a lawyer. That's it.

I wish I belived democrats were competent enough to take advantage of that.

And it's a really ahistoric view of the world. A lot of the eventually successful bourgeois revolutions usually failed, had a reformation, and then either had another revolution or ended up with incrimental changes towards the revolutions goals, usually a mix of both.

And that's not even touching on just how easily the mentality can be turned towards victim blaming.

We absolutely need to understand how they've succeeded in the past, but we also need to understand that sometimes you can do everything right and still fail, and that military victory isn't the only gauge of correctness.

My favorite conspiracy theory is that Trump has been an FBI informant sense the 80s and that's why they helped put him in office and why he always feels so personally betrayed by them.

Same thing as a college instructor, or really anyone trying to teach something, but I can see how it could be hard if your trying to do it as a drama or comedy. Kind breaks up the story if you have to repeat yourself 3 times.

A lot of accounts of Kobane are stripped of ideology. This does a great disservice to the Rojava revolution and especially the YPJ who are too often depicted in a neoliberal feminist model which is not a good analogue for jineoloji.
