FlyingHead just discontinued the iOS version of the FlyCast emulator for Dreamcast due to persistent harassment from a user out there. This kind of thing is exactly why I stopped releasing my own projects publicly, why I stopped working on Retropie, etc...

Man, the Switch 2 launch has been... probably the least excited I've seen a console launch from Nintendo in... forever. But to be fair to Nintendo, that lack of excitement is likely down to the price being what it is, not a lack of interesting/good games.

Started smelling smoke, thought it was coming from my home server, decided to clean it out tonight. Suddenly started seeing smoke pouring out of an electrical socket that was barely used. Shut off all the power, it stopped and landlord came by to fix it. Ugh, scary moment.

While the idea of having a competitor to Steam that lets gamedevs keep a higher share is a good one, never forget that the whole reason why Epic can provide that competitor is because they burned out reams of developers working on pushing endless Fortnite updates on unrealistic schedules.
