Bottom line... Dollar won't strengthen with deficit ballooning budgets...

Efficiency always helps! It is the execution that needs superior leadership which DOGE efforts lack.

Is this becoming the new 'normal'?

Wouldn't a weak dollar help the US deficit? The real worry is on the yield being sticky above 4.5%

Isn't he the one who scurried to safety on J6? Seems to be an opportunistic...

Will he be required to pay for all the legal costs? I surely hope so...

Weak dollar is beneficial for US exports and detrimental to imports.

CleanTech leadership is up for grabs to non US entities.

The parabolic gold price and 10-year yield definitely shows risk aversion. But all parabolic moves retrace also quickly. What are your thoughts on the timing?

These are the talking points of various lobbies. It is also an attempt to reverse the technological leaps the rest of the world is taking while US is busy in regressive and protective trade policies.

Indeed, but how much trade interruption is real and how much is temporary? If the trade flows settle with tariffs playing out as inflationary, the capital flows would resume, right?
comment in response to post
Like all deniers, OP very conveniently left out "How" tariffs are good in the long run... Like giving a mathematical, economical, or even imperical explanation.

Communities coming together to better themselves are very effective against the ineffective and corrupt governance. More power to Jozi...

Taking the voting rights away will be childish and small minded step. It is important to hear the Hungarians, share the truth, and get them on board.

Empathy and active listening goes a long way to yield a fruitful conservation instead of an argument.

Wonder how many 'mistakes' will be claimed to escape the legal consequences of hasty shallow acts...

Yes, why take any responsibility when finger pointing is a popular option?

@elerianm.bsky.social and what do you think about interest rates? Should they stay and rise to reflect inflationary pressures or drop to lower the cost of US debt?

The science of hibernation is critical for us to understand and leverage for space travel and protecting endangered species. #hibernation #space

Building capabilities where a failure of one mode of transportation should not hobble the expedition is critical to growth of space programs. Thank you SpaceX!

True, but the problem is that the real pain will be felt in another 6-8 months and till then, most Republicans will squirm their way around hoping that tariffs go away. Unfortunately, US trading partners shift permanently... Like China now sources Soybean from Latin America rather than the US.

Wrong focus! Federal employees cost only 6% of total federal spend.

Untrue!! The majority of Americans support Ukraine...period!!

Cultural integration and not just tolerance is critical in such large displacements. Germany is struggling to absorb a very different culture of Syria-Afghanistan-Iraq. This will be a generational challenge and a hard one.
