Made my own nunchuks in the 80s. Sawed a cricket stump in half, taped it, screwed in eyelets, added chain from the hardware shop. I was studying taekwondo at the time. This was not a result of that. Taekwondo just happened to be the martial art I could study near home. The real reason was Bruce Lee.
