John Oliver is a US citizen. He is worrying about his own rotten country.

Thank you! Hopefully I find time to work on this. I've used Obsidian some and need to spend more time with it. This could help. I am currently trying StoryGraph but don't care about social aspects. Looking to improve on simple notes apps like I've used forever.

Any hints to where someone could learn to do this for themselves. What do you use for book tracking?

It's one game - the inaugural home opener - and there is something wrong with playing your best players? If you want them to build something over time, you have to give them some time to show the plan. This extrapolation from one game is absurd, unfair, and unfounded.

But my feed isn't filled with everyone's comments about it. (That is a good thing.)

Citron and Iriafen sure don't look like rookies for the Mystics, but that's in games against the Dream and the Sun. The Wings played one of the best defenses in the league.

BSing off the top of your head has been considered some form of journalism on 24 hour TV news since it started. It has infected other spaces since, definitely sports. A podcast may or may not be BS. The form of the media is not the deciding factor.

It's a "meritocracy" - where the dunces are proclaiming merit.

This is what I've been doing the past year because my old computer is running fine, but won't run the latest and greatest. Yet there are plenty of great games I never had time for when my computer was "awesome".

Clinton's server was never hacked.

Sounds like it was other players on the team wanting to understand White's style and they were texting Bonner to ask, because she knows since she played for her in Connecticut. I don't think Bonner is "trying to understand" something she is very familiar with.

Yes, we've even watched our team lose Super Bowls - twice.

I've been watching her podcasts on the draft. I never pay attention to draft stuff. But a moment of distraction is wonderful.

is it bad that i'm hanging my hopes on us being fucked so fast and hard that the backlash avoids longer term fucking

Yeah, this is the horrible thought I cling to often while fully acknowledging it's horribleness.

The Legend of Lizzie Borden on TV at midnight. My older stepsister convinced me to stay up and watch with her. Then she fell asleep. I was scared yet very interested in the story. Still get shivers thinking of it.

When I was growing up the big thing was overpopulation. Guess we solved that?

I'm thinking Dr. Phil's endorsement changed zero votes, nor his rescinding of it.

My wife and I thought the same thing, but we're in the don't really get it crowd. We knew this. We felt the lack.

I really miss the waiting until sometime in the late afternoon to turn them back. I want that hour when I can notice it. I will re-enact the old ritual with the 3 I will need to set back.

This straight white mid-fifties dude was hoping to hear "Goodluck, Babe" but I loved the new song! Turned to my wife of 26 years and said "I'm really glad I already have you because I probably couldn't compete with that."

Where are all the articles demanding that Trump govern from the center? Or from any consistent political position whatsoever that isn't rooted in his own interest and his alone?

They aren't skeptics. They are denialists. They aren't really questioning the results, they just want to be able to change them to reflect the result they want.

Let me know if they are still saying this tomorrow after the nightly shills spew their spins and that becomes tomorrow's story.

So, like Mitch McConnell, he is hoping the Democrats take care of Trump on their own so he can swoop in afterwards and take advantage. That didn't work for McConnell. Cowards. Unprincipled cowards.

I'll take it. I've had Kiss' Hard Luck Woman stuck in my head for days.

But gerrymandering the legislature is what allows the shenanigans.
