Use linters and other static analysis tools. Turn on every option. Fix them all by hand and understand why. Eventually you start looking for those things yourself and then you find the higher value stuff that a human code review gives.

Obviously I'd probably buy super expensive letter drills or letter reams for pointless accuracy for my dumb ass project. I'm just mad that certain diameters of drills are more expensive because there is 1/1000th the demand.
