Three very different cases. Half life 3: we know was announced but has long been cancelled. A new game like Alyx would have to be made from scratch. Bloodborne sequel: Never has been announced, Sony owns IP and Fromsoft is doing other things Silk song: is being worked on actually coming eventually.

Ik koop altijd van die rollen om ze vervolgens te besmeuren en het riool in te spoelen. Echt complete papier verspilling.

Well, that's an automatic strike for anyone working at Microsoft whose last name includes Gaza. Can't do work if you can't write your own name in an email. 🤷

It's Let's Go Eevee though. Literally any Pokémon can walk thru that game with ease. Especially the starter Eevee.

Not by USA logic though. Since the pope was Latino, his life didn't matter.

Probably because it's more error prone to type the numbers than it is to select it on a calendar. But that's just my guess.

also nowadays we are used to always using stab + coverage for your move set. While in gen 1 normal type physical attacks were more the default. Kinda like basic attacks in a mystery dungeon. Some didn't get stab. The word "special" really meant moves that are special, not just the other 50% of moves

Fully agree. Yesterday I was looking over some code I wrote last year for an annual event. I needed to update it in some small sections that changed this year. And I really had to study and experiment with how it worked before adding the new stuff.

An example of the dashed line could be time reversion. Moving at a regular speed thru space but in the opposite direction of time. For example the way it works in Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.

I love Bewear so much.

After the last slash it snaps into the lean on shoulder position a bit too fast. Maybe add a small animation to move it there more slowly that can be cancelled if another attack is queued up.

(/2) Think of it like a breast stroke in swimming. The wind up would be moving the arms together in front of the character. Then during the dash the arms split and move horizontally past the body. End with the current end pose. That way the character claws forward thru the air and enemies.
comment in response to post
(1/2) The forward dash it's not exactly clear what the two straight trails of particles are supposed to come from. I think the issue is from the character animation since during the dash the arms are behind the mass of the body. To make it look like an attack it would need a swiping motion.

He is really just making institutional racism into overt racism. Official government-citizen interaction has always been hard for non English speakers, and there was an unspoken lack of will to fix this. Trump is making that unwillingness official.

Like what if in Animal Crossing you could send letters and the villager actually seems to understand the content. That could be awesome. But it's a lot more work, not less, to have a satisfying reply that doesn't fall in the usual trappings like the "ignore previous commands" meme.

(2/2) but that requires a lot of work to create the model. Have it accurately read the player's desired tone. Have a narrative designer check if its output doesn't contradict the written story etc, tons of playtesting. Could be cool, but not easy and very specific.

(1/2) I'm sure there is some problems an LLM could solve. But you need a problem first and then get an LLM to solve it. Not have an LLM and just randomly apply it. For example. Maybe instead of pre-written replies and charisma checks to NPCs and LLM could read tone of voice.

And it's not like AI in games has to be evil. There's a lot of random generation and algorithmic software to make it so Devs don't need to hand craft every bush in an open world and animate every lip movement manually. But any creative work must have an intent. Which AI just doesn't have.
comment in response to post
Hahaha yeah, it would completely remove any cohesion from the project. What if A-B proves that FPS camera shots are most effective. But metrovania platforming is the best tested game genre... How are you gonna make that work? 😝

Oh I think ZA will be a lot like cyberpunk. Namely releasing in a buggy state with clear signs of scrapped content and having performance issues even if in theory the hardware would be able to handle it.
comment in response to post
Artistry aside, even just as a business analyst this is a terrible reverse implementation. If you would want to reduce production costs you should go to the devs and ask them what tools would make their work more efficient and make that. Rather than make a tool nobody wants and force them to use it.

I agree, but on the other hand I feel like. How long will it be cute? Because after a while they probably just turn into a quick click here for culture and here for influence.

To be honest I didn't know it was AI. Not because it's a believable conversation. But because Meta has always had the weirdest "hello fellow humans" vibe in their ads.

2B has a design that communicates quite a lot. It's, sexy, dark and ominous, high dominant heels. Contrarily the maid-like uniform is a subservient symbol, the blindfold shows ignorance. She's powerful but also being fooled. That ridiculousness is exactly why she is sent to fight in a sexy outfit.

It might be a bit too German, but Lederhosen. It's essentially a butt-tight leather pants.

I mean it just picks some articles about the lack of diversity in AI models mixes them and spits them back out. It's not like it actually considers any context like the "intelligence" it promises to have.

Oh Samuel L Jackson dressing as uncle Sam and demanding manners is definitely camp. A nice parody on the over the top American bolstering that the super bowl indulges in. And as a European viewer it was nice to see at least someone acknowledge the ridiculousness of how overwhelming patriotic it is.

The article fails to mention this is a collaboration between the University of Leeds and Black Mesa Research Facility. A new MIT PhD graduate will do a lab experiment based on the results so I'm curious how that will go on his first day.

My grandma was put in a Japanese internment camp in what was then the Dutch Indies being occupied by Imperial Japan. So they bothered the Japanese in small ways. If someone left ink unattended they put it in the sun to dry out. And when told to clean they made the floors extra slippery.

I've received some toys from my grandma with the capability of a pocket calculator from my grandma. That happens regardless. We'll just have to see how Nintendo will market it since they only just showed the thing for now.

I think if it was called the Wii2 people wouldn't mistake it as another add-on like the balance board. But that's just my opinion ofc.

Why would it? The playstation 4 and playstation 5 don't have that issue. If anything I think Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are much more confusing. The devices look similar but a 2 is a pretty clear indication, if not a bit unoriginal in design.

I feel like there's one thing the lack to address. Which is how jobs are the one source of security for people. Anxiety over economic prosperity and xenophobia arise from being dependent on needing work to survive. Something a UBI could solve.
