But I think unnecessary force will still be used, because they are hoping to provoke people enough that they are "justified" in their escalation. It's an abhorrent (but effective) tactic.

EVERYONE has the ability to help in some way. Some of us can help in large ways, some in small. Even if all you can do is be supportive of someone who is more capable of robust resistance, that support matters. Everyone needs to do whatever they have the capacity to do. #strongertogether

So much for states' rights. This is a powder keg intentionally engineered to provoke Americans. I worry about the motives of the administration here. I hope I'm wrong, but it seems like a ploy to declare martial law. Stay strong everyone. #strongertogether 🩷🤍🩵

Gavin Newsom has made some decisions lately that have left a bad taste in my mouth. But, in this instance, I think he and CA should go for it! It would send an incredible message that Blue states cannot just be bullied and coerced.

In a nation as developed as ours, it is a crime that our tax money does not simply provide healthcare for all citizens. This alone would alleviate a tremendous amount of stress from the lives of everyday Americans. Keep fighting! 🩷🤍🩵

What I hate the most about that "argument" is that it was conjured up by men who are frightened about being obsolete. Where I work, women occupy most leadership roles. And... Shit. Gets. Done. No shade to open-minded, hardworking men. But to those weak men, get over it and let women lead.

The amount of times I've talked to Conservatives who've said: "if everything you are doing is legal, there's no reason to hide or lie. Just be honest and forthcoming." I'd love to hear their thoughts and excuses on masked ICE agents...

This 100% I think we all know who's to blame for my slight belly - those damn refrigerator manufacturers!

This is where I am too with my frustration. Look, not every person can fight the system in major ways. But they can do SOMETHING - join a protest, call out someone who says some BS, etc. But leaving it at "I didn't know" is such a copout. We don't even accept that from our 8 year old.

True, but even many white men and women who voted for him actually voted against their own best interest. I think that many groups contain individuals who made that choice, unfortunately.

It's sad how many people voted for this lunacy because "surely, they won't hurt me." But no one is truly safe under an administration like this.

I hope she is more and more vocal about the crap coming out of this administration. We need loud, empowering voices.

I'm fuming. Setting aside the fact that it's 🤬'd for transgender individuals, it will mess with cis girls' self-esteem too, by advancing them due to a legal technicality. I work with youth - they don't care about this issue the way the gov/media makes it seem. This country right now.... 🤬🤬🤬

How disappointing... It's frightening that some of the supposed bastions of civil liberties are caving to this pressure. Keep supporting one another, everyone. #strongertogether 🩷🤍🩵

Perhaps one of the scarier parts of being a trans woman (among other things) is being listened to less and not taken as seriously. Medically, socially, professionally. Having been on both sides of that experience, it's really noticeable. Women know their own bodies. Just listen, damnit. 🩷🤍🩵
