Zombie. Fan of all the Star Wars, The Expanse, For All Mankind, Star Trek and Sci Fi in general. Total AFOL. Also known to read a book, occasionally. Mostly thinking about Andor...

For a documentary about a deep submersible disaster this was surprisingly surface lever fluff...

Nothing about how many people were involved in the long list of events that led to this. Who did or didn't try to stop it. Just Stockton Rush genius. Stockton Rush bad. Guy was a cunt, but he wasn't the only person on that ship or in that company. 2/2

A very flawed show with some quite enjoyable parts. Like quite a few of Star Wars D+ shows the execution doesn't live up to the idea.

Love these two. Both actors were amazing in Andor. Both their characters were such deliciously complicated, evil people.

Same in the UK, or at least northern England when I was growing up in the 70s/80s. An eraser is a rubber and if you make a mistake you rub it out...

Sad to say, I saw quite a few people miss this. And miss a lot of other things in Andor...

The stories they told are good & worth telling but the final product has been lacking something. I've enjoyed them all to some degree but, with the exception of Mando S1&2, all have issues that bother me. Be they character, plot or narrative choices. Andor isn't perfect but it was executed better.

The political mentality of dragging everyone down, including yourself, instead of lifting everyone up, just in case some group or person you don't like gets something you don't, is just baffling to me. Real lowest common denominator attitude...

And you just know they have an entire room stacked full of forms waiting because Vader has to sign them too. And he does not do paperwork.

So many lines and moments in Rogue One hit differently after Andor. The connections they made, the subtle links, just enhance the whole experience. They did a fantastic job.

Heh, yeah, Luke was important. I do wonder what Kleya's reaction to him & the OT crew showing up at Yavin and saving the day would be though...

I always had the idea that one thing missing from the prequels was a 'Vader is Luke's dad' twist. Imagine if Yoda, the leader of the Jedi, knows the Jedi must fall. He knows it's going to happen, knows what Palpatine is doing & does nothing to stop it. Running away out of guilt because of that...
