Reinventing the wheel is good for the individual but bad for the organisation, that's why it's frowned upon. But it's a tradeoff. If the organisation gets its way, it ends up with unimaginative drones and wonders why it can't innovate. If the individual needs win, the organisation grinds to a halt

Sure, AI may be an environmental disaster and produce mid outcomes in cases where it doesn't straight up lie, but at least it's extremely unprofitable.

Okay, let’s make it official: after four months, I’m wrapping up my sabbatical and starting to explore what’s next. If you’re looking for someone with deep expertise in open source, React Native, or cat herding at the highest level... reach out!

On point.

Ok, this is the last one

billion dollar companies talking about the solutions they found to scale their architecture and infrastructure might actually be a business strategy to make potential competitors focus on problems they don’t have and kill their velocity

I’m increasingly drawn to the concept of Product Engineers. I think it aligns with what I’ve always been doing.

Is there any react native library that still cause trouble with edge-to-edge? I didn't get a lot of opened issues lately, despite the growing number of downloads. Ping me if you had any issue!
