Worse, we started the season 2 players too short (while sending 2 on loan...) and lost 2 more.
Even if he had brought in 2 loans from Europe in Jan, we'd have been back to "just" being too short to compete on all fronts. 😅
Gotta be a resignation from Ayto comes the morning if he has any integrity.

The Havertz news is unfortunately the least surprising turn of events when it was clear to all he and others were visibility burning out.
The club's board failed its duty of care of our players... 🥲
With decent players available on loan in Jan both as CF & on the wings, that's simply unforgivable.

The ones not injured yet were visible burning out & injury was not a matter of if but when.
The "thin squad" is the reason we failed to be champions now for the 3rd year running. It's gotta be "BIG squad or Bust" going forward.

Agreed. We started the season a couple of forwards short (especially after sending Viera/Nelson on loan) and lost 2 more since then.
We needed to bring MINIMUM 2 players in January (on loan at least) just to get back to the situation where we were already short 😑

Awful news...
We needed an extra winger in Jan before his injury, there can ve no excuses not to spend BIG on a couple of key targets now. 2 from guys like Olmo, Mbeumo, Semenyo, Mitoma, etc are a must.
