I have ancestors who fought for the Confederacy. I don't know that they were "evil," but I know they were very misguided & their *cause* was about as evil as it gets. Not admitting a bad past is evil. "Evil" or not, my ancestors were WRONG, and they shouldn't have statues celebrating 'em.

Luna fun fact: she can fit an entire cantaloupe in her mouth. You could maybe park a car in there. No other animal that doesn't have to troll for krill has a mouth as large as Luna's. Every time I see her I can't believe I didn't have to pay a quarter and go into a tent.

I live in a state full of MAGAs. I say this not to be mean, just because it's true: intelligent ones are rarer than 4-leaf clovers. Maybe 20% are nice enough but misguided, but they're almost all abnormally, pitifully dumb. It's what most of 'em are so angry about.

Elon's driving a lot of this. He needs minerals to build batteries for his electric cars, and the U.S. doesn't have enough. So he's pushing Trump to take over other places he can loot. "Lithium" is the new "war for oil."

One thing I love: despite all of his money, Elon will NEVER have the thing that he craves the most: to be funny, clever, or cool. He'll never even get close. Trying only makes him more pathetic and sad. And, one lonely day, that unfilled need will be what kills him.
