The fact a post here shows up for my followers is a deal breaker. They won't know it's part of this discussion. I know why it works that way. But I'll stop using Threadsky until they upgrade the @protocol to allow it to post only here. Sorry.

"Subscribe" What does that mean here? I clicked "subscribe" on the Science channel but then could not see how that changed anything anywhere, either in the Threadsky UI or back in Bluesky UI.

The "Create First Post" on ThreadSky's channels is still using create-post.php as the URL rather than "submit?channel=" like the "Create Post" button... that should be fixed. :)

Checking out ThreadSky. I dig the idea, especially as reddit is contemplating paywalls. Perhaps a familiar UI will bring some new users to Bluesky. [posted in c/threadsky]
