🌱Very interesting. Like juglone an allelopath secreted from Juglans nigra (Black Walnut), may be compatible plant families or genera. Lots more info online. Helianthus relatives also proven to be allelopathic include Zinnia violacea (syn. Z. elegans) & Cosmos bipinnatus.
