With the movement of plate tectonics over 65 my, wouldn't the seemingly disassociation of the dots to the current location of the crater be expected?

No, because the crater is part of the plate itself which as a whole moves under plate tectonics. With that said, evidence suggests the initial crater punched down to the base of the crust to near the mantle boundary. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0012821X09002635

Your probably correct, but only if the plate boundaries have remained static to conform to your statement. Minor breaks in plate boundaries can affect movement of stratification and even induce plate separation over long periods of time.

The Yucatan is well inside the North American plate and not near the boundary. Though such impacts likely lead to increased global earthquakes and volcanism temporarily. Regardless, the sinkholes and gravity anomaly are all features of the crust which move with the rest of the plate.
