I actually went to the eye doctor in fear like I had some sorta parasite in my eyes or something lol. This was of course before Google was what it is now so I was pretty concerned haha. Optometrist was like, yeah itβs normal lol.
I have. They started when I was in my early twenties. Iβm in my 40s now. Still have to be aware of potential detached retinas later but so far so good. I actually even had LASIK after I was diagnosed with floaters and they went away for about 3 months but came right back.
Yeah, it can be indicative of eye problems and you shouldnβt be seeing them all the time or a ton all of the sudden.
Both from a family history standpoint and DNA standpoint, Iβm at risk for macular degeneration. I have crazy eye pressure too, which is also supposed to be bad. Good times.
I see what I first thought were floaters then I noticed I see them with both eyes. Turned out, I have "scintillating scotoma without headache." Trippy.
