So many fun games. Playin the new Gaiden 2 black today and this made me think of the DS gaiden game that made you hold the thing sideways and swipe with that stick that always got lost, heh.
3DS and it's spotpass system was the highlight of my gaming life. You could go out irl and connect with other people's profiles and it was the fucking coolest thing ever.
I feel sorry that none of our kids may know that feeling.
The first page of the guide says a lot of intimidating stuff about how messing up could brick your 3DS. There's basically no risk of that. I've jailbroken half a dozen 3DSes so far and you basically cannot fuck it up if you try.
At the very end of the guide it tells you to install a bunch of cool homebrew software onto your freshly modded 3DS to get a feel for what it can do, but it doesn't even tell the half of it. Hit me up after you finish the guide and I'll show you some even cooler homebrew apps.
Too bad my goofy ass didn’t grew up playing the majority of its library because I dropped and broke my white DS. And the fact that I lost my black one and was too afraid to tell my parents about it.
The DS was solid, but the Gameboy Advance will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember getting Pokémon Sapphire and Link To The Past as a kid, and i just felt thankful. (Could be the Great Recession trauma talking). But yeah, the DS is cool, and I'm hoping to see more 9f the Switch 2.

if not you really should!
takes 15 minutes, no tools required, and you get access to all games ever published for the console ever plus access to homebrew!

I have some additional links of cool stuff you can install after you've finished that guide :D
If you stray from the guide a bit but mostly stick to the instructions you'll be fine.
If you don't do anything the guide tells you in big red letters not to do you'll be fine.
Also Virtual Boy games play in 3D and I am here to tell you that Red Alarm is actually really solid.
I kinda want to find one and try it out.
