We're not complaining, we are just desperate for alternatives. @mcuban.bsky.social or someone could step up and finance this. If you want to get people to abandon meta products, they need somewhere to go. Not everyone will close their accounts like I did.

not yet. the iOS version somewhat runs on M1/2/3/4 chip Macs, but I'll yet have to ship the iPad optimized app version.

That would work for an indie styled app. This is meant to reach all the branches that an Instagram would. Cutting out the vast majority of users is the worst way to gain support and traction.

Also Instagram launched as iOS-only app. Android-version followed couple of years later. And Flashes IS indie-app. You can’t build a team before you can see if there is commercial success.

With all the android users desperate to get on board, you'd think there be one who could help the good work!
The creator isn't exactly earning money on this. We just need one person who knows how to rewrite for android out of good principles.
