i have a small SSD that my system boots off of, and then a big HDD where all my games live (this was all long ago when SSDs were more expensive!) but now games want you to run them off the SSD and I dread the idea of getting them all over to a new drive

fwiw Riley it’s p easy to make this transition in practice. windows lets you just copy everything over. you can just run the process overnight or whatever. buying and installing the SSD is probably the biggest hurdle you have here
