We had him in the UK as head of the Bank of England, was sad to see him go, he has steel and integrity, probably not better or worse than Trudeau, but Canadians susceptible to Poilievre`s machinations, Trumps backers influencers got rid of Trudeau, Carney will be harder to shift, but watch them try.

point. The party has rebounded thanks to Trump’s belligerence and the prospect of a fresh leader. And while he’s not a politician, Carney has managed crises as Governor of the Bank of Canada in 2008 and Governor of the Bank of England during Brexit. And I’d classify a trade war as a crisis.

Trudeau stepped done under mounting pressure. He continued to work while the party found a new leader.

He'll hand the PM office over sometime this week, most likely, then Carney will have to figure out if he's going to stay for a bit or call an election.
