Literally last time they were in office they deployed the military on a totally peaceful protest and called it suppression of active threats.

Which included them beating a foreign press cameraman with a riot shield totally unprovoked.

Lonely and bored animals can become dangerous out of sheer neurosis. I'm proud of all the folks going out to help redirect ICE's rioting elsewhere and keep innocent people safe. But ultimately ICE will have to be properly contained in a fenced yard and not let out again. For a very long time.

(because bsky is a humorless pit of despair--yes, I'm aware that ICE are not literally poorly-trained nonhuman pets and they are in fact a serious problem and ICE must be abolished and its agents tried and jailed. But we also need enrichment and stress release and humor is a tool of self care.)

I think the smart thing to do is to show up and force but then end the event and scatter at some point.
What happened in a lot of black lives matter? Protests was they had a very successful event and then later that night other people came along and in front of the police
