He hasn't got an offer as we're still negotiating. I'd say the offer comes once they agree on all the fine print as it'll never be a simple number. That being said ... not the best place for us to be in now. Get him signed LFC

I wouldn't totally believe what the players or agents are saying. They like to talk big to try and get more money out of the club. Plus, they never actually send a formal offer, they just agree on things verbally and then put it in writing.

I completely agree. I guess being an old fart I still find it difficult to feel sorry for an individual trying to get a pay rise when they are already on £300k plus a week without sponsorship deals. Before I get beaten up I know it’s market forces and I want the best players. Just sayin’

We were in exact same situation few years ago with him. They are just putting more pressure on the club to agree to their terms (i.e. more money). It's not an ideal situation but I wouldn't stress about it yet. He wants to stay, the club wants him to stay so it comes to money (and the length).

I think there’s probably negotiations but no offer as things stand mate. If he’s asking for too much like a 5 year contract on 400k a week then you could understand there being a stand off. But I reckon it gets done tbh

The word is that he wants a 3 year deal on the same money, but he has to remain as the squads top earner also an option for a fourth year, I think we should do it now and hopefully get the other two on board so there is no unrest in the camp as we go into the new year #YNWA

The wording from Salah is key, he says no offer has been made but apparently no offer is officially made until terms are agreed. If he had said there had been no talks then that’s different. Salahs agent has been extremely quiet throughout all of this, last contact extension he couldn’t keep quiet

I truly hope it gets done. Just we haven't heard this sort of talk from Salah before and he does appear to be disappointed. I mean yeah sure if he's asking for crazy money that's one thing but I don't think he would be.
