Fifa bid reviewers have given Saudi Arabia 2034 the "highest ever evaluation score" even though they don't even yet know when the World Cup will be played and the report references 40-degree summer heat (and cities suggested aren't yet built, let alone stadiums).

FIFA have given the Saudi bid for 2034 the same 4.1/5 score for its stadiums - despite eight not yet built - as they gave to the Canada-Mexico-USA bid for 2026, all of which are built, many of which are world leading NFL stadia. I mean, how? www.nytimes.com/athletic/595...
