Fair but his initial ownership and cash injection (ignoring where these funds came from) was the reason for Chelsea’s disproportionate elevation in world football. He was the reason for things like FFP. Jose’s achievements at Porto will always dwarf that at Chelsea, for me.

That’s a savage take. Don’t know how much Mourinho represents the opinions of other managers, but I wouldn’t be surprised if others held that belief. And I don’t think it’s jealousy, either.
