I’d be more for a dimensional limit. If it’s beyond a length/width/height, it’s a Commercial vehicle, with all the extra laws that apply.

I'll borrow or rent one if I need to move something big, but my mid size #RAV4 works fine for me and averages 12L/100km or approximately 19 mpg in the city.

Around 10L/100km (23 mpg) on the highway with radar cruise control.
