I met a man when I was there
That was only happy when it rained and when I first got to
LA 49 years ago it rained for 3 weeks solid … he was happy but the houses in Malibu were getting washed away
Great news. In Oct. 2021, I took a trip to wine country. It hardly ever rains there of course. It rained 3 out of 4 days we were there. It was hard to be too upset, when everyone there was so happy about it. A guy at one vineyard said “now we won’t have wildfires this year.” Put it in perspective!
yes, i was watching the Supercross races and they were in Anaheim tonight, and i seen it was raining, im in the Central Valley and it rained all day here.
When I lived there, I found I'd have an almost happy-cry reaction to rain. Heck, to any change in weather that felt like a real "season" coming in, if only for a few days ...
It's tamping down the toxic dust, which has been preying on my mind since Eaton broke out upwind of me. It's been poison, but there's been nothing we could do about it.

It's cleaning the air of ash.
It's dampening potential fuel for Eaton & Pacific Palisades.
It's also gonna lift long dormant oil out of the asphalt on the 405/10/5 & rly any road in LA so if you're driving, watch yourself tomorrow.
