What’s stuck in my memory is a Chiefs mistake led to the butterfly effect.
Chiefs go offsides, Bills decide to unsuccessfully go for 2
Bills try to make up for that later, unsuccessfully go for 2
Chiefs play the score, successfully go for 2
3 point difference if they all just went for the PAT
32-29
Sure but at the time if you get the 2pts you go up by 3 and a FG can’t beat you but it can if you only kick the XP. Problem was there was way too much time on the clock to be thinking like this.
It's funny because usually early on if a team drops ints. You figure that comes back to haunt them and they lose. But kc still somehow won. Bills started off badly on offense. Or at least seemed nervous.
Genuinely the only pats Super Bowl that they lost that haunts me to this day. Having the perfect season ruined was a kick in the balls. And it also kept a ring from Randy Moss
Some of us do! My wife mocks me because I bring it up everytime it happens - a dropped INT is the biggest momentum change in the game. It’s a self turnover. You had possession and gave it back.
I agree☝️...the chiefs should of won this game by at least 10 points 🤷♂️...there was also 6 fumbles in this game and the bills recovered all of them and still LOST 🏈
The dropped pick that always sticks out to me was the Jaquiski Tartt drop in the Rams-49ers NFC title game. He holds onto that, it's likely the ballgame.
Nah,
That's a 9ers false narrative imo.
Our D was playing lights out, 9ers O couldn't do anything at that point in the game.
A pick at the 35, is pretty regular field position.
3 point game.
9:47 left.
Whole Lotta ball game.
You never know, but it isn't quite the watershed moment they think it is.
The Tartt play gets talked about all the time, but you’ll almost never hear of the Ramsey dropped pick with the game tied in Niner territory.
We have no idea how these things might have turned out, heck it’s not unheard of to have teams give the ball right back after a quick change.
Well the joke is if they could catch, they'd be wide receivers and get that pay day lol.
Picks are nice and helpful, but defenders shouldn't be held to the standard of drops like WRs are. It's not what they're there for; they're disruptors.

Yet the Buffalo Bills still loss
They’ve obviously rebuilt since, but it would’ve been a few ugly years if that wasn’t dropped.
We were holding our breath until the replay.

I need to do a whole 2021 playoff rewatch soon. Good times.
