Historically, Salt Lake City has averaged 8 days of 100+ F degrees per year. Since 2020, the average has been 20.4 days. Yet meteorologists in Northern Utah won’t dare mentioning climate change to avoid being attacked online.

Ahhh; the ostrich method of dealing with disagreeable situations. I think, years ago the Dodos did that too. They are extinct now. Just shows you that foolishness has some interesting consequences.
Not to mention 100° weather mid spring here in Arizona that is 100°-122° all the way through to mid fall. It's only gotten hotter, and the 110° mark gets hit earlier and earlier each year
My friends who do publicly-funded research on various environmental issues can no longer use the words "climate change".
Sometimes using the terms "weather variability" is acceptable.
I am concerned that this happens everywhere. But not all professions are exposed the same way. My first thought is to look to the re-insurance companies (the backstops behind insurance companies when they face overwhelming claims.)
One example would be personal residences in wildfire country. (Which is now everywhere that's not a desert or a swamp.) If local insurance companies can't get a re-insurer to back them up, maybe you don't actually want to live there?
Yes, climate change, & 🇫🇷 center "val de cher", we've had that over the past 10 days, I've even seen 124f/56c in August.
It's getting hotter than the hubs of hell
