Every now and then you can still spot one of these beautiful creatures roaming free in the wild, and not brutally enslaved by humans, being exploited for its scales.

Every time I seen an old piano, I remember growing up as a PK and scratching my initials into the churches baby grand piano in the sanctuary. It struck a sour note with my parents.
That looks similar to the one we had when I was a child. It was a convert. It had been a player piano, but was converted into a regular piano. Ahh, the memories.
Sure, it may be beautiful and look like it's enjoying its freedom, but the sad fact is that they don't survive as long out in the wild, where they tend to drink too much water and their lifespan is reduced. The 'grand' breed is in fact a purely human construct, and not found anywhere in the wild
I'm laughing because I know for a fact that people try to offload these on others and nobody wants them. For an inanimate object without a distinct personality trait, they are expensive to maintain, and thrift stores won't take them. This made me smile!
There was one in the riverfront park down in Cincinnati a while back (noticed back when I was playing Pokémon go and I was going to walk there weekly on nice days)
