I will offer one simple reason I continue to stay over there…I like the formatting better. Blue Sky, like Threads, is formatted for a phone while I use it on a tablet. Personal preference, I just feel I see more content at a glance…🤷🏼‍♀️

I hope you’re right but Threads is still formatted this way and they’ve been around longer (I believe). I’d really like to ditch twitter but I keep going back for that reason…it’s easier to skim through. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think there are people who believe it's about principle, but I think their posts fall on deaf ears there now. Only the views that align with Musk's own are promoted, and his followers are not swayed by contrary views from anyone on the left. I'd rather plot with friends than argue with foes.

I do not share Musks value and Im there simply because there's stuff at twitter that I can't see or follow around here. A lot has to do with retro games, comics, movies and especially sports.
There almost zero stuff here about sports.

Not enough brands and institutions have moved over. The only thing I miss from Xitter is stuff like my local emergency services so I could get updates about breaking local news, and some of the brands I follow for new releases and announcements.
