Everyone needs to start somewhere. It’s the company that has a little of everything, and many people are closed off because they’ve only ever watched the more narrow WWE style.
Wow, I go back to the late 1960s/early 1970s watching the L.A.-based National Wrestling Alliance, featuring "Classy" Freddie Blassie, John "The Golden Greek" Tolos, Victor Rivera and the "Man of a Thousand Masks" Mil Mascaras.
Ah you'll never know the good times like when HHH and DX did blackface. Or did a whole skit making fun of little people. Or did a segment about Chyna's breasts. Or make fun of little people again.
My group for wrestling was normally me, my wife and my friend, also a woman. 30 years watching between them. The amount of questions they get asked like it's a f'n interrogation is crazy.
Every. Time.
No one asks how much WCW I watched though. (And it's 0.)
Do that now. Weekly live tweets of years old episodes as if they're brand new. Be an interesting experiment to see how the mansplainers and gatekeepers react 😂
How'd you like it? Wife watches with me sometimes and doesn't enjoy the bloodier side of things (and also hates the Attitude era for the same reasons you mentioned in your replies), but does enjoy certain characters (Moxley, Danielson, etc.)
And then those guys on twitter who do shit like bodyshame Adam Cole and Eddie Kingston and talk shit about the women wonder where all the new fans are.
Also gotta love the guys who say that it’s just common sense that women don’t actually care about the wrestling parts. Like oh? Are you on the group chat with all women?
Yeah, unfortunately I don't know what to say about men ruining wrestling for women. I'd like to think it's just overzealousness for sharing something we like...

Nope. Don't think about it.

AEW who?
Personally I like injecting a bit of 'this plotline is weird because the characters are in love with each other' to keep them on their toes.
What do you *mean* you like flippy shit??? Don't you know that's bad???
Forget the broom, get a bat.
Hey, my guys? We just stopped talking to you.
And I'm like you don't even know what tumblr is doing with this match as we speak.
