Okay, now that I've read it more thoroughly: thank you for doing this. Back when I tried to do my undergrad thesis on mir dataflow, I had a hard time grokking the code that was there, and it seems like you've made it both simpler and more consistent. And you've also documented it! ❤️❤️

More or less. It's a thing where the abstract theory sounds terrifying but actual examples are often simple. Like, if a variable is definitely initialized on one path and possibly uninitialized on another, at the point just after those paths meet it will be possibly uninitialized. Not that bad

It's just that... applying it to the compiler was just too hard for me when I tried? So, knowing that you know it, as well as knowing that you know how to traverse the compiler rather well, is kind of exciting!
