I adore this! REALLY reminds me of a Ralph Bakshi cartoon, especially with the colors and the linework on the legs. Can totally imagine this in motion on a cel or something.

I'm a big fan of the older Zelda game concept art (NES-GBC specifically). And I was really inspired with how rich and vibrant the colors were. I wanted to combine the darker tones of Twilight Princess with the whimsy colors of the Zelda 1 and Link to the Past.
YEP! This is what I used as inspiration! I absolutely adore the concept art from the older games🙏😩. They have such a retro and timeless fantasy vibe to them.
