Yeah, I'm trying to take my despair to a private journal these days. Or to actual conversations with loved ones if I can. Certainly not sending my laments into the void here. I come here for art and cat pics and to return the favor in kind. I need inspo to keep going. Everything sucks right now.

To be fair, getting off socials to be more present in offline life has helped a lot! But yeah having a healthier online experience would also be neat haha

Same! I'm so glad there's no limit on the word blacklist. But it makes me more frustrated when people post news/political images without alt text. Even *worse* when they self-censor words by swapping out one letter.

I feel this so hard. On the one hand I care deeply for the friends (and strangers) who are affected by current events. But on the other hand, I can't help if I wear myself down to a hopeless miserable nub. We can aim toward helping replenish energy and joy too. 👍

It's difficult but i think if more people start integrating the practice of actual activism without the handwringing it'll hopefully spread and become the norm 🥺
