In California, where EVs are 39.4% of new cars this year, most of the sales growth is in hybrid EV.

It is very lumpy country by country. In Norway it is almost 100 percent of new vehicle sales. In the USA, it is still below 10%.

CleanTechnica has monthly updates from Jose Pontes of EV Volumes (now owned by JD Power), unfortunately it's not all in a nice easy to consume chart, but the YTD share of PEVs and BEVs globally is 20% and 12% respectively https://cleantechnica.com/2024/11/08/what-falling-sales-plugins-grew-to-a-record-1-7-million-units-in-september/

My youngest son just purchased an Equinox. Received a good deal with the energy rebate & his trade in. It’s a joy to drive and ride in.
