we now need Government incentives targeted at private buyer market. Perhaps diesel scrappage for low cost EVs. Help improve sales volumes making way to used market before 2030 & economies of scale.
Elon will probably use his vast wealth to move to Mars with one million people.
Then we can all admire or hate him from tens of millions of miles away.
Sadly that click greed is also carelessly destroying the environment.....
Expect near new used EV prices to fall more, depreciation not sustainable.
But the financial cost of the massive depreciation for most models is real and getting worse. It's going to take time for stability to come to the market. Until new EV prices fall substantially private buyers will mostly keep away (that is a problem).
