Only a few years ago there were almost no electric vehicles being sold.
This year China is approaching 50% share of electric vehicles in total sales.
But Europe is not doing too badly either with 25% outperforming the US.

EU transport oil demand is already decreasing, US is steady.

But we got to keep on working for the better!
The paradigm of "me first and earth system 237th" is still in charge.
But - what to do?
A very small contribution is maybe, to share, that temp increase rate did ~~~ double a decade ago to .3-.4 K/dekade. We might cross 1.5 in 3 y and 2.0 in <20 y.
It’s a country full of sunshine and wind but we are too stupid.
It’s called the Lucky country; not clever.
Best $ ROI I ever made.
still, where the power to charge these EVs is coming from matters
China is also building a huge renewable capacity every year.
Cars are the problem. ICEs just make them worse.
EVs, being heavier, will only make all of those things worse, as over 30mph, tire/road noise is louder than an ICE engine.
All EV subsidies should be for e-bikes, IMO.

They are a lot better than ICEs.
And what‘s even better is a bike. If you have the luxury of only needing to travel small distances regularly, nothing beats a bike, win win win.
There's also a braking system in prototype stage with a wet disc brake in the axle like on construction machinery but that's not ready yet for cars
However there are places where it's hard to live without this type of individual mobility. While they are a burden in a big city because you barely have space for them there they guarantee mobility in regional areas,
If you drive through the CBD of Sydney for example a car is a pain and you're far more flexible on something like a bike. In small towns however in regional areas a bike is not fast enough because the distances are
In Europe it's similar, just with smaller distances in regional areas because the countries have a denser population there.
China will lead on car production by far in 2035
We need to buck the fossil fuel companies.
Seek alternative energy.
