Do you have more data because that doesn't sound right?
Example with Switzerland: services and industries lost some 10% in 20 years... while household consumption is up 10%. This is more deindustrialisation than efficiency...
There really is a path to sustainable global hi-tech prosperity. The path involves giving up the "dig it up and burn it" technology of the 19th century and actually committing to the 21st.
Do we have similar numbers for US - crypto and AI has increased the demand - even with improvements in efficiency I am afraid thirst for energy has not decreased fossil fuel use.
