@christianspicer.bsky.social I know you like GeForce Now so have you tried local streaming via Moonlight?
It’s an open sourced version of GameStream and is super high quality + low latency. Runs on almost anything (YMMV)
I stream pc games -> Vision Pro/Steam deck

Ok I’m back to streaming games to my Vision Pro
Forgot of fing awesome it is to play on a massive screen compared to my Steam deck. I’m even using my 5.1 surround sound speakers for that non-simulated spatial audio

Apollo (a sunshine fork) can create a virtual monitor that matches your device's display specs (similar to what you mentioned GeForce now handles devices' aspect ratios) and it's fully configurable.
Also in VR, the aspect ratio can be anything, whatever fits the game!
Hope it's informative! https://azadux.blog/2024/09/07/simulating-monitors-in-vr/
Not bad. Not bad at all! Configuring my desktop screens to turn off took some tweaking. Maybe bc I’m still running windows 10?
It's pretty amazing how high quality + low latency the video can be on 5Ghz wifi. https://bsky.app/profile/azadux.com/post/3lgr7g3lemn2p
I'll take a look on my Win 10 machine regarding turning off the display. The "disconnect monitor" option in Windows display settings is finicky even on Win 11
Otherwise, performance seems just as good
