Current US political climate and Zuck's attitude turned my dislike for Meta into disgust. VR is the most intimate medium ever and having Meta control that medium is incredibly bad.

Quest vr dev / vr dev in general is dead. Almost all devs are not making money. If you wanna get depressed go on the oculus start discord or just ask any vr dev how their revenue is (it’s certainly negative)

Headsets were subsidized before horizon worlds came along. I'm sure they do it to have hold on the market. It's just a shame they are single handily killing the market by being so incredibly bad at everything, and won't listen to people in the market telling them than no-one wants horizon worlds.

For both of those statements to be considered true, you only need a third, that this was Meta's gameplay day one and has taken the sector for a ride on a journey that is ultimately doomed.
