Co-I Matt Symonds is currently developing an online interface to search the project's SQL database (which I'm very excited for), whereas the download here gives you the raw data to analyse yourself.

If you don't use relational databases, there are three ready made queries and their outputs in CSV format in the data package. These focus on summary data for donations, bibliographic details of books donated, and material descriptions of books surveyed.

There's some hefty documentation to go with the data and I strongly recommend giving it a glance if you're going to use the data. There are sections on the technical design of the database to help with queries and understanding the results (including the premade queries).

The documentation also has an introduction to the key source behind the data, the Bodleian's first Benefactors' Register (lib. records b. 903), and project methodologies for identifying gifts, including signs of early Bod provenance. These might be of interest even if you're not looking at the data.
