I don't think people understand the extent to which that was not a radical or surprising act, or the extent of the consensus behind her in the Episcopal Church.

You don't get to use the cathedral as a prop to make yourself feel big. God is big. We are small.

Yeah I definitely have colleagues who are receiving outraged messages from parishioners about the sermon, but there is literally no element of TEC above the "parish rando" level where anyone has a problem with what Bishop Budde said or did.
