Jesus performed miracles, healed the sick, preached history defining sermons, & led the best small group ever. And none. of. it. was. enough. to prevent people from rejecting him. Leaders, we cannot do what Jesus himself could not. We cannot perform well enough to keep people.

Realized recently that what Chotiner feasts on is the deeply-held belief among elites that it is unfair to consider them bad people for having abhorrent views. So he gets them to state their beliefs, points out that they're horrific, then lets them melt down in how-dare-yous for connecting the dots.
