What I like about Ben’s framing though is it provides a meaningful structure for a papacy without actually taking a position on whether or not there should be a papacy!

If there can be an analogy drawn between structures in the church and relations in the Trinity (and I’m social trinitarian enough to say there can be), this shows how the papacy can be one way of expressing that analogy, without requiring it to be the only way.

I'm very moderately Protestant, especially by Irish standards, but Francis was an irenic exemplar of Christian leadership for me, and more than earned a primacy of honour. We need more such servant leadership in Christianity as a whole.
