Ford has been around for 100 years. I can’t imagine it doesn’t have more assets than Tesla. Ford sells about 1/4 million more vehicles per year than Tesla yet ford stock is $10 per share and Tesla is over $250 most days. It shows you how crooked Wall Street is.

It's not exactly crooked. Tesla's stock grew by like 4000% because people who liked Elon Musk and people who wanted to support green energy (me) bought stock (I bought right after the IPO, though). most of us sold our stock but Republicans picked it right back up. Ppl can see behind the curtain now.

Chinese EVs are sold, and well liked, all over the world. We already had a 27% tariff on those which effectively banned them but if we were allowed to buy them we would be getting better cars for much less.

We pay like $5k to $10k more for cars just to prop up the American auto industry.

Already happening. The April update was already very bad and that was only partially in this crisis. California only reports these stats quarterly. The next update will be in July covering April - June data and it's going to be way worse.

A small thing, but I wanted to point it out; all publicly traded companies are required to post quarterly financials at quarterly shareholder meetings. So, they are only giving us the absolute minimum required by law b/c it's probably more dire than they are claiming it to be.

The delivery data comes from state and national registrars reporting vehicle registratiobs and is used to forecast delivery numbers way ahead of Tesla earning calls. Some states and countries do it monthly, some quarterly, some annually. California is quarterly.

Yeah, you can do it more often than quarterly, the fed requires it at least that often (iirc some are longer? no idea) but the point was that they are sharing less financial information with us than they used to - sharing less is a story in and of itself. 🤷‍♂️

The meme investors are a short term problem. Tesla has $36B in the bank. Tesla is not screwed.

There are still a lot of institutional investors in Tesla as well. They get the financials.
