When it comes to games trying to capture a feeling from retro years, the Infernax folks absolutely got it right. It's a fantastic game on its own merits, but gives juuuust enough "Yeah, we know" to the origins to satisfy.

The Castlevania 2 Cliffnado ending made me so happy to see, for example.

I adore Infernax. It's so fun. If you can, the couch coop is amazing. It has no right being so good. The secondary character is so different.
