Welcome! 🎉 And same, I used Facebook pretty consistently since around that same time, Instagram too, and deleted both my long time accounts right after the election. I do miss some things about them but this is a pretty good replacement, especially as more people come over! 💖

I deleted Twitter a good while ago, I closed down Threads and I'm slowly trying to move my family off Whatsapp so I can delete that one too. Slowly, but surely, we'll get there.

Got rid of IG, Messenger, and Twitter. FB is still up for a few more days for friends and family to make sure they get any pics and vids they want if they don’t have them. I’m so done with meta and Twitter.

Same. 2004 when it was colleges being invited one by one. I don't even have half my old friends' numbers because we could always get in touch through social media. But I'd rather be more isolated than be complicit.
