we should just pay for people to go to the doctor so they dont die and suffer sounds like common sense but in america we act like this notion is one step away from the politburo confiscating all you own

I had a co-worker once earnestly explain to me that if doctor visits were free, poor people would go to the doctor's office recreationally, like literally just for fun, and it would clog up the system.
The fact a yearly physical had to be covered when the ACA was announced and that pre-existing conditions could be on the chopping block again are just two critical pieces of evidence that healthcare companies are just running a casino we all have to play in, but they can just bow out of whenever.

Nothing is a concern except suffering* and taxes.
Though certain, death is not a concern.
*Illness, disease, pain, hunger, thirst, addiction, etc.
And to those who've lived a lifetime with zero suffering...
